Description

Tenvir 300 Mg Tablet is an antiviral medicine. It is used in the treatment of HBV  infections. It is also used in combination with other antiretroviral agents for the treatment of HIV-1 (Human Immunodeficiency Virus, a virus which attacks the immune system of your body) infection.
It works by inhibiting the growth of the virus responsible for these infections. Tenvir 300 Mg Tablet shows common side effects such as difficulty in sleeping, rash, itching, stomach pain, diarrhoea, or depressed mood. These side effects usually subside with time. However, if they persist or worsen, consult your doctor for further assistance.
Tenvir 300 Mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. Do not break, chew or crush the tablet. Swallow it whole with a glass of water. Do not discontinue the medication without consulting your doctor as it may cause a risk of re-infection which can be difficult to treat in the future.

Complete the treatment even if you start feeling better. Follow the instructions given by your doctor about the dose and duration of the treatment. Tenvir 300 Mg Tablet is not recommended if you are allergic to it and have moderate to severe liver impairment.

Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection is a viral infection which attacks the immune system of your body. In this infection, your body losses the ability to fight infections which can lead to a life-threatening condition known as Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Tenvir 300 mg Tablet along with other antiretroviral medicines is used in the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection.
Hepatitis B
Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection, is a viral infection which leads to swelling and infection in the liver. Tenvir 300 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection.

Allergy
Avoid taking Tenvir 300 Mg Tablet if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.
